MGC is not pursuing transactions in the following industries:
- Retail
- Natural resources
- Real estate
- High technology
- Financial services
The information we usually compile when evaluating an investment opportunity includes:
- Product literature
- Summary of sales by product
- Analysis of customer concentration
- 5 years of historical income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- 2-3 years of projected income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Management team bios
- Industry overview: size, growth, fragmentation, market share, competition
- Asking price
We are flexible regarding transaction structures and management succession.
We encourage inquiries directly from business owners and managers, as well as from intermediaries, attorneys, accountants and consultants. We do not require a detailed written business plan in order to discuss an opportunity.
